Hidden in the details of the new SUSA polling is the disturbing fact that President Bush is surging in California,
from 30% approval to 33% during the past month.
Worse still, where last month, only two states had a lower opinion GW, this month, TEN states approve of Bush less than we do! And look at that table: we're about to be undone by the crash in approval in THIRTEEN Red(!) states, where W's approval is falling in the 30's.
We are frighteningly close to the weighted national average of 36% approval... with a total sample of approximately 30,000 people in the 50 states, we can only pray that this is the biggest statistical error of all time.
We should be especially panicked by Arkansas, whose disgust with the President is within 1% of ours, at 34% total approval.
What are we doing wrong?!?
Update 1: tags added, well, because these are serious times.
Update 2: Only two recommends? What do I have to do, buy free drinks? ;)
Update 3: This is almost entirely of-topic, but if you want to laugh your ass off, go watch the videos produced at the Red State Update blog. Says the tag, "Straight shootin' video weblog featuring Jackie Broyles and Dunlap, broadcast from a bunker deep within Jackie's Market in Murfreesboro, Tennessee." From Brokeback to Delay to Cheney, these guys put us liberals in our place. On Brokeback: "It's hard to mess up a western."
