Hidden in the details of the new SUSA polling is the disturbing fact that President Bush is surging in California, from 30% approval to 33% during the past month.
Worse still, where last month, only two states had a lower opinion GW, this month, TEN states approve of Bush less than we do! And look at that table: we're about to be undone by the crash in approval in THIRTEEN Red(!) states, where W's approval is falling in the 30's.
We are frighteningly close to the weighted national average of 36% approval... with a total sample of approximately 30,000 people in the 50 states, we can only pray that this is the biggest statistical error of all time.
We should be especially panicked by Arkansas, whose disgust with the President is within 1% of ours, at 34% total approval.
